3RD INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE:
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE RISK AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE NEW REALITY
Accompanied by an interactive exercise:
"Risk and Crisis Management in a Gamified Environment"
October 16th–17th, 2025, Falkensteiner Hotel, Belgrade, Serbia
INFO
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Recent cyberattacks on energy systems worldwide—including the attack on the Electric Power Industry of Serbia—have demonstrated how vulnerable critical infrastructure sectors are in today’s new reality. When a key system fails—whether due to a hacking incident, geopolitical tensions, or extreme weather events—the consequences quickly ripple across energy, transportation, communications, and financial flows, directly impacting human safety. Issues such as employee protection, mental health preservation for key personnel, and real-time crisis management have become just as important as the technical security of the systems themselves.
Today, the question is no longer if disruptions will occur, but when, and how we can minimize the damage. That’s why we invite you to the 3rd International Conference on Critical Infrastructure:
“Risk and Crisis Management in the New Reality,”
where you can expect real-world incident analyses, strategic discussions, and applicable solutions in areas such as:
-
The impact of geopolitical shifts on infrastructure security
-
Ensuring energy security in times of global disruption
-
The use of artificial intelligence in risk and crisis management
-
Cyber threats and the protection of digitalized systems
-
Managing cascading risk effects in a connected world
-
Human safety and protection of key personnel in crisis
-
International and national legislation on critical infrastructure, including data privacy and classified data protection
-
Legal frameworks for AI implementation in critical infrastructure systems
-
Skill development for managing critical processes using AI models
A special segment of the conference will be an interactive workshop on:
“Applying Artificial Intelligence in Risk and Crisis Management.”
Participants will have the opportunity to analyze how AI can enhance threat assessment, optimize crisis response, and support real-time decision-making through practical examples and simulations.
The conference will bring together decision-makers, academic experts, representatives of government institutions, and the private sector to jointly create more resilient systems.
Critical infrastructure knows no borders - The safety of one system depends on the resilience of the entire ecosystem.
That’s why we invite you to be part of this event and contribute to building a more secure future.
